Short drop answer
It would be nice to think that ill informed people like Short Drop would be game enough to put their name to a letter that I'm surprised the Bulletin stooped to print. The Ruatiti Domain Committee is set up by Council to make recommendations to them, as the administering authority, on any aspects of Domain management or expenditure that may be necessary. Councillor Trebilcock and myself repre-
sent the Council and have co-opted four members of the public representing the Rotary Club, Department of Conservation, and Local Ratepayers, to sit on the committee. People should be aware that it is the dedication and commitment of the Rotary Club that has been entirely responsible for the upgrading and
beautifying of the Domain. For several years now they have looked at providing water and toilets as basic amenities for the hundreds of campers and day trippers who now use this lovely spot. Is that too much to ask?
