HORSE TALK

Hi I'm a beautiful anglo-arab chestnut mare. I've got a lovely shiny coat and perfect manners. I'm way better than all the other ruff 'n' stuff ponies. I am my owner's pride and joy. Tomorrow I have to go to a show with my rider. She's really nice so I always try to do my best for her. Well we're at the sjiow and Tania is just putting my special show saddle on to show off my long, sloping shoulders and of course my flash double bridle. | On she hops quickly ajnd lightly. She's a very good rider you know. I "All competitors in ring one come now pllease," we trotted briskly to ring one, and started to assemble in a circle when the judge arrived. I knew it was time for me to show my true colours as Tania put it. Show my Stuff! i Responding to her clear aids I carefully arched my neck, lifted my tail and came onto the bit beautifully. "T.R.O.T." said the judge I knew that my trot and canter were the best things about me. They were active but cairn, and smooth but collected. , "WALK" she called, eyeryone walked and she yelled out the placings. Of course we were first. When the steward gave me the rosette I got a great

thrill. I felt a tingle trickle from my head to my tail and I was so glad that I had pleased my rider.
