THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE

The sun was shining and there was a slight breeze coming through the campsite. Everybody was setting up camp. I started getting lunch ready while my tent mate put up our tent. It was 3.30 by the time he had our tent up. We all went tramping after lunch. It was getting hotter as the day wore on. All the scouts went to bed early that night. Somehow that night our tent fell down and we had our noses pressed against the wa-ter-soaked ceiling. In the morning m y friend and I had to dry out our tent. Jokes were made about us all day. That night I made sure that the tent was secure. I didn't want to be embarrassed again. by Malcolm Chan
