WAIMARINO COMBINED UNION CENTRE PROPOSED

A Waimarino district sub centre of the Wanganui Combined Trade Union District Council is planned for Ohakune. The office | would be used to establish Trade Union activities in the area and to supply information. Plans would see the centre based in the Jenco Building, next to the AA Information Centre. Michael Cleary, who is chairman of the Karioi Branch of the New Zealand Pulp and Paper Union, is working to set up a sub committee for the centre.
