Pulp Mill amnesty
Winstone Pulp International last week declared a 10 day amnesty for the return of property and equipment owned by the Company. The amnesty ends tomorrow, Wednesday, October 12. Supply superintendent Bill Scobie said there is a considerable quantity of property n o t accounted for and the amnesty will allow employees past and present to return goods without fear of
prosecution or recrimination. Mr Scobie says the response so far has been good, with a number of employees having approached him with a wide range of items, from tools through to videos. Any person in the district with property that they believe may have come originally from Winstone is urged to contact Mr Scobie. Ohakune Police added that they will be looking very seriously at people with Winstone owned items in their possession.
