Budget video
This week the Waimarino Budget Service is showing a video about borrowing money and some of the traps you can fall into. The video, titled "A Loan with a Shark", is two stories about a family who borrow cash and can't meet the repayments, and about a person whose hire purchase car is repossessed. It suggests ways to avoid the problems
that the people on the video experience and looks at alternative places to get money when you need it in a hurry. The video will be shown from 10am to 4pm on Wednesday and Thursday, October 12 and 13. All are welcome to drop in to the Vanity Fair Shop, Seddon Street, Raetihi to watch it. The video screening is part of a week of activities promoting consumer education on credit issues.
