WAIOURU POST OFFICE TO CLOSE THIS WEEK
Waiouru's Post Office is the latest victim of Government cut-backs. The office that has operated in the camp since 1939 will close at the end of this week, with the loss of one job. New Zealand Post officials say that the company has decided to rationalise its services at the camp and will provide alternative postal services without having to maintain an office at the camp.
