Pipiriki ACCESS

Pipiriki has been the centre for an ACCESS labour training scheme for the past five wecks. The Outdoor Pursuitsstyle scheme is enjoying enormous success and popularity with trainces who are taken on in groups of eight for two week periods. The group is housed in Department of Conservation accommodation and learn skills of hunting, tramping, canoeing and other related activities first hand. Local tutors are used for the scheme as well as two qualified ACCESS tutors. The course will continue until March o f next year.
