"STABBED" CHRISTCHURCH WOMAN ARRESTED

Police arrested the complainant in an alleged stabbing incident last Friday. A 21 year old Christchurch woman is to appear in the Ohakune District Court this Thursday on a charge of making a false complaint to the police. The woman had earlier reported that she had been stabbed when she intervened in an incident that she said was a domestic dispute, alleged to have taken place near the comer of Foylc Streets and Mangawhero Terrace. Police said the woman was injured and was treatcd by a nurse at a house close by and, soon after, by a doctor. The real cause of the injury was not known to the Ohakune police when the Bulletin spoke to them vesterdav.
