Wanganui Charity ball

Wanganui Newspapers have issued an invitation to Waimarino residents to a charity ball. The fundraising ball is to be a formal dress affair, held on Saturday September 10. If 20 Waimarino people, including one teetotaller, are keen the company have offered to put on a mini bus.

The $40 per head pays for supper, drinks and entertainment with the profits going towards buying a Pulse Alsimeter, or child's heart monitor, for the Wanganui Base Hospital Children's Ward. Entertainment will be provided by the Tenderkist Silver Band from Wanganui - a top Australasian brass band.
