Raetihi manager takes Wanganui step
Raetihi Elders Pastoral branch manager Jeremy Trebilcock becomes the company's Wanganui Taranaki area manager this month.
He will still be in charge of administration for Raetihi from his new base in Wanganui, while there will be a replacement livestock manager appointed for Raetihi. Mr Trebilcock said last week he hasn't made the decision whether to resign his place on the Waimarino District Council. He said he thought h e would probably have to resign, but that if h e could he would like to continue.
Mr Trebilcock began working in the stock and station business in 1966, for Dalgety N Z Loan Ltd i n Christchurch. In 1967 he moved to the company's wool division where he stayed for 18 years. The last five years there he was assistant wool manager. In 1978 he was seconded for eight months to head office in Wellington to help in the computerisation of the company's entire
wool information recording system. Mr Trebilcock swapped wool for livestock in 1984 when he became Dalgety Crown's Ashburton livestock representative.
In 1985 he became Raetihi branch manager. Mr Trebilcock was due to take up his new position on August 22, subject to a Raetihi replacement being appointed.
