Principal leaves
Raetihi School Principal Geoff Lovegrove leaves the area at the end of the term next week with what he says are mixed feelings. Mr Lovegrove served as Principal for three years, but has held principal positions at several schools around New Zealand.
Mr Lovegrove says he has never had so much job satisfaction as he has during his time in Raetihi and says he enjoys the community input common in country schools. His replacement, Mr Doug McLean formerly of Clutha Valley in South Otago, takes up the position at the beginning of term four.
