Waimarino wins at squash

The Security and General Trophy was up for grab's at the Squash club recently between Taihape, who have been the holders for the last two seasons, and Waimarino Clubs." The Waimarino players put everything into their games to win this trophy back. Players were Mai Cotter, Sam Arahanga, Stu Fowlie, Tige Todd and Robert Harris and the lady players, Aroha Irwin, Christine Hawira, Carol Leary, Kate Siddells and Mary Grave. The trophy was presented to the winning team by Barbara Dobson of Security and General. The club has teams evenings every Wednesday night for three weeks and they are well supported by rliembers. The Club Championships are being played early September along with an internal tournament and these are open to all financial members. closing date for entries is August 17. A rugby game with

the Raetihi Rugby Club is also to be played in September some time. Members are urged to watch the notice board for the date of this event which always proves to be exciting.
