SCHOOL SKIING RACES DRAW HUGE FIELD

Entries closed yesterday for what is likely to be the biggest ski race meeting in New Zealand ever. The North Island Secondary Schools Skiing Competition has so far attracted 97 entries with more expected to arrive yesterday. Ruapehu College, who are hosting the event are expecting over 100 teams with 500 competitors. The event will be held at Turoa Skifields Mondav and Tuesdav Sentember 19 and 20.
