Waimarino Golf day
Kesults ot play on Sunday, August 7. The days sponsors were Parklands Restaurant and Parklands Dairy. Senior division was wbn by J. Summerhays 3 up, the roarer's mug again and the trophy, next R. Pearson 2 up, then M. J. Kennedy and A. Berridge 1 down. Junior division John Hammond 2 up with the trophy, on count back from N. Leitz 2 up, J. Mcllroy 1 up, H. Geraghty 3 down. Next Sunday 14th is the Manson Cup visit to Taumarunui Golf Club and the bus will leave the Club house at 10.30am and Webbs corner at 10.45am. The cup will be played on 18 holes this year because of the circumstances at Taumarunui Club. Both inter club teams posted wins for the club.
