Kids play mommies and daddies
Darcy Elliot and Stan Bobrucz are the "perfect teenage couple", bright and attractive, the envy of the senior class at their K e n o s h a , W i s c o n sin, high school. Their brilliant future is all mapped out. Darcy expects to write
for the student paper at the University of Wisconsin after graduating from high school. Stan is up for a scholarship to study architecture at Cal Tech. Stan and Darcy are confident their unusual bond will see them through the four-
year separation. As sensible as they are smart, they plan to marry only after they've graduated from college. One thing Darcy definitely didn't plan on was having to wear a maternity dress to her senior prom.
