Dudley Moore changing places
"Like Father Like Son" stars D u d 1 e y Moore and K i r k Cameron as mindswapping dad and boy. Dr Jack Hammond is a brilliant heart surgeon. Urbane, cultured and somewhat stuffy, Dr Hammond is the oddson favourite to be named Chief of Staff at one of the world's leading high-tech hospitals. His son, Chris Hammond, is a likeable high school fledgling who struggles to meet his father's demanding academic standards. Chris has not only achieved a conversational nirvana with the girl of his dreams, but has actually made a date with her. Chris and his dad have accidentally changed bodies - but no big deal - Chris gets the Jag and the Gold Card. Dad gets the fake ID and the bio final. The personality transformation takes place because of Trigger's archeologist Uncle Earl. When Earl seriously injures his leg in the desert, he is administered a mysterious mind-switching potion by a Mavajo medicine man. Trigger rushes t o Chris's house with the potion with elaborate ideas for experimenta-
tion. Accidentally, Dr Hammond flavours his
Bloody Mary with the brain transference
serum which sparks both hilarity and insight into the respective lives of both father and son.
