Ohakune ski lodge opened

Sunshine Ski Lodge had a successful official opening last weekend The Miro Park development was opened on Saturday night by the managing director of New Zealand Skifields, Mr Tony Wright. In his opening address Mr Wright said commercial lodges and developments by entrepreneurs were vital for the future of not just the Turoa Skifield but the whole of Mt Ruapehu. The developer, Mr John Woods, says the weekend opening was very successful with a

further three shares being sold by the on-site consultants who showed visitors through the complex. So far the company has sold 20 of the 50 shares in the Lodge. Further open days will be held during closed skifield days over the next few weekends.
