BANGERS AT T'CHATEAU
A powej failure at Whakapapa village last week made for unusual haute cuisine in the Chateau's Ruapehu Room on Wednesday night. The Bulletin's ex food critic Dellyn Taoa and a friend went to the dining room and were offered mountain burgers, sausages or pork and barbecue sauce. Sounds a bit kiwi caffish but Dellyn reports that the sausages were cooked to perfection! "It was loverlv." said Mrs Taoa.
