Local girl Fiona Evans is all smiles after being awardcd the prcstigious Singapore Rosette (picturcd), for effort in Pony Club competition. The Rosette was originally presented to the King Counlry arca of the New Zealand Pony Club Association, by the Intcr Pacific Singapore team that visitcd the country in 1977. The award is presented ycarly to a rider 13 years or ovcr who has shown promisc and has not attained higher Pony Club honours. Fiona has been a mcmbcr of the Ohakune Pony Club for the past four years and this year sits her C plus ccrtificatc.
