FIS FESTIVAL UPDATE

It's all go for the FIS ski race festival next month says organiser Glynis Helton. Lots of businesses have decidcd to take part in the opening day parade with floats. A highlight of the parade will be the DB Clydesdale team. Clubs are also invited to participatc for a $10 entry fce per float which goes towards prizes for the best float. A fireworks display is to be held after the parade. Bill Te Karu and his willing workers have come up with some great ideas for the Victory Dance which is to be held on the last day of racing. The dance will be held in the Ohakune Primary School Hall, with a live band and entertainment. A $15 charge covers drinks and supper for a great value night out. A limited number of tieke ts will be available.
