Head quarters shows superiority
Head Quarters Army Training Group, proved their superiority by being the top unit in this year's inter-unit cross country.
Winner of the Men's 9km open event B . Twiss (Workshops), layed competitors D . Whaanga (HQ Company) and T. Cunningham (QA Squadron) to rest. In the Women's 6km open, S. Aukram (OCS)
ran the fastest time to cross the line first; second T. A d a m s (Workshops), E. James (OCS) third. Veterans: P. Nelson 1 (HQ Company), B. Bailey 2 (SEMI), P. Pitts 3 (HQ Company).
Winning unit: HQ (1), OCS (2), QA (3). This year saw a different circuit to previous years. Competitors ran a track that took in Tank Hill, Valley Road and behind the Sergeant's Mess.
