YOUNG FARMERS HOLD CONFERENCE HERE
The Wellington Region conference of Young Farmers is scheduled for this weekend with the Ohakune Club as venue. The conference has the annual general meet- . ing on the agenda as well as deciding the nominees for various regional and national exchange programmes. A ball, for which members of the public can by tickets, is to be held on Saturday night. Conference organiser David Lilburn said they chose this area for their conference venue to try to encourage the revival of a Waimarino club.
