OHAKUNE RUNNER TAKES SECOND PLACE

Chris Thrupp of Stutz Cafe in Ohakune was placed second in the Wanganui Chronicle River Run on Sunday. He was one of 500 runners who took on the 11km run from Aramoho Park to the Wanganui Sports Stadium. As well as the runners, 200 people walked the distance. The event took place in perfect weather, unlike last year which was raining and humid.
