Plenty to keep nurse busy!
Meet Libby Tuthill, Waiouru maternity annexe's new prinicipal nurse.
For months the position of Principal Nurse at Waiouru's Maternity Annexe remained vacant until recently when the
position was filled by a highly qualified nurse who answered an advertisement in the Listener. Libby Tuthill, for-
merly of Christchurch has 25 years experience in maternity care and paediatrics to her credit. Mrs Tuthill, her husband now retired, and their two children moved to Waiouru six weeks ago. The first four weeks were spent on an orientation
course at Wanganui Base Hospital. She arrived at the hospital during a lull in deliveries but last week was inundated with expectant mothers. Mrs Tuthill is keen to enjoy any spare time she might have in the Waimarino. She is a
keen tramper and is looking forward to making use of the outdoor facilities of the area. She is also an avid craftsperson and artist. Patricia 11 and Gregory 9, are both enrolled at Waiouru Primary School.
