Gumboot day
Gumboot Day April 5 will be the day to be in Taihape when the Skellerup World record attempt at Gumboot Throwing will take place. $1,000 is the prize going to the person recording the longest throw exceeding the world record during that day. A size 8 Skellerup gumboot is to be used for this attempt.
