Children's corner

One stall to be set up on the Patterson Field site of the fair is the Weir Terrace Kindergarten Children's Corner. The stall is designed specifically to cater for pre-school children. On sale will be a variety of homemade toys, puzzles and novelties to delight ycunger chil-

dren. To delight parents no single item will cost more than $5. After the children's curiosity has been filled at the selling stand, they can be entertained on the lilliputian merry-go-round. As with the items for sale, this diminutive sidesnow is designed

for pre-schoolers with two seats specifically fitted for toddlers. Money raised at Desert Fair 88 by the Weir Terrace Kindergarten will be used to help pay for the new verandah, as well as purchase a range of play and educational equipment. Such expenditure will

directly assist in the development of preschoolers in this region, and the stall looks forward to you patronage. For further information contact Rosie Estall, Weir Terrace Kindergarten Publicity Officer, Waiouru, phone 56-078.
