Hostel Xmas

Christmas is traditionally thought of as a time for giving - one Ohakune woman is asking Waimarino people to do just that. Manager of the YHA Hostel, Milly Beckers, is aiming to turn on a traditional Christmas dinner for the New Zealand and overseas visitors staying in the Hostel on Christmas Day. Mrs Beckers is optimistic that with the help of donations from residents, she can assure them of a dinner with all the trimmings.
