Mayoral thank-you
Mayor Bill Taylor expressed his deep appreciation for the work done by Borough staff, councillors and chairmen of committees during 1987. Mr Taylor remarked that it had not been a particularly easy year - his final year with the Borough, . "but was made easier through the smooth running of council." Mr Taylor leaves for Bhutan on a two-year Volunteer Service Abroad scheme in March.
