(St. John's) OHAKUNE: 7.00pm Combined Christmas Community Service in the Roman Catholic Church. The Fourth Sunday in Advent brings to a conclusion the Church's preparation for Christmas. The Advent wreath bears four lighted candles. The Christmas creche now contains the animals associated with Christmas - the sheep, cattle, as well as the manger itself.
