Taking time for flowers
Kelly Evans enjoys the fragrance of a floral bouquet that appeared in a flower show put on by the junior pupils of Ohakune Primary School last week. Posies, sandsaucers, miniature gardens, novelty vegetables, bququets and even weed saucers appeared in the show which has become an annual event in the school. The flower show is non-competitive and gives children a chance to use their imaginations.
