LETTER

Wayward Youth? On Saturday I unwittingly left my purse on the boot of my car. Two young boys saw me drive past and saw the purse fall. They retrieved it, followed me into town on their bicycles and returned it almost before I had the chance to discover its loss. In an age when we hear and read a great deal concerning the waywardness of youth it is pleasant to report that in the Waimarino at least, we have honest young people prepared to go out of their way to be kind. Thanks again lads.
