No rates? - No water
If you live in Raetihi and don't make arrangements to pay your rates soon, you could find your water cut off in the near future. That is the message from the Raetihi Borough Council after their full council meeting last week. Finance committee chairman John Compton advised councillors that letters will be sent to ratepayers warning them that if no attempt to pay their rates is made, their water will be cut off.
