GOLF RESULTS
Results for Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September Sponsors for the day were Reynolds Equipment Ltd and Covers Upholstery. A charity tournament was run for the Anglican Church by Janice Mcllroy. This was a very successful event and was followed by some excellent entertainment and a nice meal. The results of play on Saturday were: Ladies E. Rush 71, J. Taylor 72, K. Greenwood 75, J. Windle 76. Ladies long drive M. McLeod, nearest the pin Goldie
Frazer. Mens Senior - James Ennis 62, Runner-up Ken Summerhays 69 on toss from W. Simeon. Junior Nathan Donghi 62, Trevor Frederick Jnr 65. Play on Sunday was for the Shakespeare Memorial (this is a medal round). The winner of the event was Michael Kennedy with 67 nett. Other results were: Senior D. Windle 69 won on count back from J. Ennis, R. Pearson, P. Goldfinch, B. Drinkwater, C. Tumer. Next Sunday the Cascade Cup is to be played at Waimarino.
