Golf Tournament Saturday
A mixed golf tournament sponsored by New Zealandl Ski Fields Ltd is to be heldl on the Makaranui Course, midway between Ohakune and Raetihi this Saturday. Prizes up for grabs include) two trophies, for winners, of the 9-hole and 27-hole| rounds. Waimarino Golf Club sec-; retary John Summerhays' said the tournament promises to be a lot of fun,| with the 9-hole course being played at Turoa Alpine Village in the morning and play at the Waimarino Golf Club's 18^ hole course later in the day. A club meal is to followi the tournament which will be an opportunity for players to celebrate their wins or commiserate theii losses.
