Tangiwai man dies
A 30,-year old local man was killed when the vehicle he was travelling in left State Highway 49, six kilometres west of Waiouru over the weekend. Robin White, a resident of Tangiwai was returning home from Waiouru sometime between midnight and 7am Sunday morning when his car left the road and flipped end over end. Mr White was thrown clear of the vehicle. A passing motorist discovered the accident shortly after 7 am. Waiouru police and ambulance attended the accident.
