Potter Nancy Nicholson, at rear, fired up the brick kiln at the Rangataua hall recently with lots of help from her friends. Some of those friends, who also made pots for the firing are Kara, Hazel, Dixie and Molly (holding Betsie). Despite a few pots exploding in the kiln the firing was judged a success, with many of Nancy' s pots going on display at the recent grower's conference at the Chateau.
