Soccer
The first match was played on Saturday between Ruapehu 2 and Taumarunui at Ruapehu College. Both teams created several scoring opportunities throughout the match. Ruapehu were unable to find the net however and Taumarunui ran out the victors 3-0 with goals from C. Nordell and A. Lawson (2). In the second match Ruapehu 1 played Taihape at Taihape College. From the kick-off Ruapehu were clearly dominant and were able to take the score to 80 by half time. The game was Taihape's first game as
