Waiouru children's clinic

A seif-referral clinic run by Waiouru Public Health Nurse, Anne Whyte is a feature of Waiouru Primary School. The clinic is not unique to Waiouru as they are held in most large primary schools. A self-referral clinic means that children may attend on their own accord or may be referred by parents or teachers.

Mrs Whyte said all queries are completely confidential, but there are some instances when children need the attention of specialists and she advises them of this. Parents are invited to attend the clinics with their children and are kept informed of their times through monthly newsletters sent out by the school.
