Short bone thief

An anonymous member of the public apprehended a shoplifter in Goldfinch Street, Ohakune last Tuesday. The man caught the villain with a bag of blood-and-bone taken from the Kunikraft garden section. The thief had picked up the bag from the back of the yard and audaciously strolled past the front of the shop. Kunikraft proprietors Bea and Dot Barnes had little chance of seeing the perpetrator of the theft as he was very short. The thief was a small black labrador cross, who made off with the; two kilogram bag clutched firmly in his jaws. It seems giving the dog a bone is no longer sufficient, now they want blood as well!
