Give Credit Where Credit is Due

Recently we attended the Rangataua School household elections for the new School Committee. On hearing the Chairman's report, we were disgusted to hear the thanks the committee received over the last two years for the work they had done and how great the grounds and school look. They know as well as anyone that for the way ihe school looks at the moment, the thanks should go to Peter Miller and the children. Mention was made of the work done with the swimming pool that was installed, but it took two years of pushing and then the Principal and senior class had to do some of the dirty work, but where were the thanks for that? Peter Miller planted all the trees that can be seen around the school and put in the nice garden with the help of the senior class. The parents and children have a lot to be thankful for in having Peter Miller as Principal of the school — he has brought a lot of respect back to the school and has done a lot for the children.

Grateful Parents
