Waimarino Squash Club results
The following is a report from the Waimarino Squash Club on their interbusiness competition. Results from 29 April after eight teams battled it out at the Squash Club: With wins to Reynolds against Cedar, Webbs against Winstone 2 in division one. Playing for Winstone 2, Mai Cotter, a new player to the club, was extremely unlucky not to win. A few lucky "nicks" by his opponent stopped him. In division two PB's beat Karate Gals (& Guys) and BNZ Bunnies beat Winstone 3. It was really great to see the "Karate Kids" supporting their "seniors" along with their leader Walter. Results from May are: division one: Hillbillies beat WAL and His Dogs and
Bonecrushers beat Y oung and the Useless. In division two Karate Sues beat MSD and Teachers narrowly beat Dowmans. Points to date after each playing two games are: Division One: The Mob 422, Peaches & Cream 312, Young & The Useless 416, WAL 378, Bonecrushers 474, Taihape 407, Cedar 341, Webbs 480, Winstone 2, 403, Hillbillies 456, Reynolds 470, Winstone 1, 440. Division Two: Karate Gals 444, BNZ Bunnies 450, Winstone 3, 479, MSD 382, Teachers 406, Hotel Rebs 465, Woodroom 426, PBs 435, Karate Sues 424, Possums 490, Karate Kids 410, Dowmans 439. Teams playing 1 3 May are Peaches v WAL at 6pm, Winstone 3 v Karate Gals 6pm, Cedar v Winstone 2 8pm, Karate Sues v Woodroom 8pm.
