This 1930 Brooklands Riley Sports racing car passed through the Ruapehu region last week. It took the vehicle's owner, John Hearne of Bayswater, Auckland less than four hours to drive from Auckland to Taumarunui, where he stopped for a break before continuing on through Raetihi to Wanganui and from there to Palmerston North.
