WAIMARINO GOLF CLUB RESULTS
On Saturday 28th Ruapehuand Waimarino Clubs played the first round of a new Interclub competition. Waimarino won, 8 points to 2 points, on their home ground, after a fair tussle with Ruapehu. This promises to be a very interesting competition. Neville Clarke scored 40 points to win the days haggle with T. Donghi and R. Southee runners up. On Sunday 29th March our first Pafr Competition in the senior Group, S. Magee won with 5 up, followed by G. McGill and K. Summerhays 2 up. In the Junior Group Colin Allerby won 2 up, and our Australian visitor, Bill Groves second I down. Two's were scored by S. Magee and Ron Southee. - Next Sunday our visit is to Turangi.
