First hole in one
The 1st hole in one at the Waimarino Golf Club for this season was scored by Ian Meredith on Sunday 15 March. Ian is new to the club and this was his first game as a member. Sunday 22 March lan Meredith struck again winning the Junior Stableford with 46 points and the roarers mug — a very promising start to the game by lan. Neville Clark was 2nd junior with 39 points.
The senior section was won by our President Terry Geraghty with 40 points followed by Stuart Magee with 39 points. Twos were scored by Michael Kennedy and Stuart Magee. Saturday 28 March Mens interclub competitions will be held at Waimarino golf course against Ruapehu .Golf Club. On Sunday 5 April all golfers are welcome to attend the Turangi Golf Club visit.
