Raetihi police report that some time between Thursday night 12 February and Friday 13th 100 litres of petrol was syphoned from three buses parked in a locked bush shelter in Grey Street Raetihi. Police are continuing with their enquiries. ★ ★ ★ On Saturday 14 February some property was stolen from a parked car opposite the Ohakune Hotel. A watch, three video tapes and a wallet were taken. ★ ★ ★ The premises of Ohakune Sports and Gifts shop was broken into and burgled overnight Monday-Tuesday. Two air pistols, rifle ammunition and other sundry sports goods were stolen. In the attempt to steal further items the thieves damaged a trapgun and rifle. ★ ★ ★
