Kite day in March

Come rain or shine on Sunday 1 March, the Ohakune Primary School will play host to the Waimarinos' annual kite day. Homemade kites of all different shapes and si/es will take to the air in the Bulletin sponsored event. There will be prizes in different categories for various kinds of kites and flying time is set for 1 1 ,30am. To fill that hole in the stomach. Ohakune Kindergarten is providing a sausage sizzle and other eats. Should the weather be bad and flights should have to be cancelled there will be kite making lessons and exhibits of kites to name but a few alternative activities. Hope to see you there!
