Grounds tidied
Raetihi councillor TomPunch advised council at last week's meeting that Raetihi's recreation grounds have been mowed and tidied up. Cr Punch said as well as enough grass for numerous bales of hay being cut, there had also been a large quantity of litter \incovered including tins, bottles and jandals. The council agreed that the grounds could not be left to get into the same state again and machinery would have to be obtained on a regular basis to keep it in good order.v
