McCormick-Gamble concert at Nat Park
The cold nights of National Park will be warmed soon by the presence of poet, comic and satirist Gary McCormick, and blues singer and guitarist Hammond Gamble. The pair will perform at the National Park Hotel on Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 August at 8pm, price $6. Gary, who has been writing poetry for years, is now frontman for the late night TV rock show, 12 O'clock
Rock. He is well-known for his witty repartee, and was seen around the country and on TV during the highly successful Great Debate tour with Tim Shadbolt and Tom Scott. Hammond Gamble plays blues guitar and sings a wide range of songs as well as his own compositions. McCormick and Gamble spark off each other and the audience to produce a spontaneous and enjoyable show.
