Y-one performs this week

A touring road show organised by Youth for Christ is to present two shows in the Waimarino this week. Y-One '86 is a multimedia show which is on a six-month tour of New Zealand, performed by 18 young people. The show looks at issues that concern everybody such as violence, war, drugs, abortion and peer pressure, but with a Christian message. The performance includes contemporary band music, dance, humour, drama and audio-visual displays. The show will be presented to a special assembly of Ruapehu College on Thursday 1 7 July. There will also be a public rally in the college hall at 7.30pm on Thursday, which will be free. All are welcome at the rally and it is hoped that buses will be available to take people from Waiouru and Raetihi.
